Ahhh I see, E for ecstasy I think is a common abbreviation as in the drug, the G in not 100% on though maybe

Yeah that was my thinking, it's missing something there, was toying with "taking great ecstasy" as a potential option maybe, as in I cried taking in the G and E

I like the surface a lot with this one but I honestly don't know if I'm allowed to do what I've done with how you work out the answer 🤷🏼‍♂️

I didn't realise Chambers was the standard, I did worry pitchy was more colloquial a term, I like it but all feedback is pointing at it not being right 🤣 back to the drawing board!

Feedback has been questioning pitchy as an anagram indicator, I think it works ok as in meaning distorted or not quite right or off key. I get that it might not be standard but feels ok within the context of the surface?
