Whatever demographic is left behind in education, we must support them to catch up and reach their full potential.
Right now, it is this group which needs help.
Weβve spent our first year fixing the foundations in our schools: turning the tide on attendance & teacher recruitment.
Now Iβm turning to the thorny, generational issues of our time, like driving up educational outcomes for white working class children.

They are clear on the combined need for diplomacy, support for Ukraine & pressure on Russia as the way to get peace.

You would expect the UK sending millions more aid to Gaza & becoming the biggest contributor of aid through the UN's OCHA office would be widely reported in the UK.
After all, it's a big event in one of the most important news stories right now.
But I can only find 1 headline this morning.
