Absolutely. I live in a smallish city with numerous gun stores, which honestly doesn’t hit as hard as plate carriers. Lots of folks responsibly own and use firearms, but the ONLY reason for the plate carriers is to practice or anticipate violence.

I can trace my love of movies to 8 year old me watching the opening of Star Wars in a movie theater with no idea of what we were about to see. It’s hard to summarize the ecstatic (and I mean that in the old school way) joy in my young nerd mind just absorbing all that.
