20.02.2026 12:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Early days for the show, but this is likely the best episode ER ever produced.
20.02.2026 11:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Part 2 of my physical media collection list. This is E-I (I probably should have divided these up differently, too late to change it now though)
19.02.2026 22:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You had me at 'new film from the guy who did Strange Darling'. Brie Larson? Yep, I'm even more in. Don't show me a trailer or tell me what it's about.
19.02.2026 16:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've said for a while that Gacharic Spin's Mindset is my pick for the best single of the 2020s, but I just played I Wish I (which was their next single) again, and honestly I might have to rethink that take. There is so much going on here and it's all amazing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R6N...
19.02.2026 16:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0She's still not 25 (her birthday is on Christmas day) and she's just dropped this excellent debut solo EP. She's oing to go far, I can't wait to hear what's next.
19.02.2026 16:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Angelina 1/3 is pretty remarkable. From what I hear, she got to join her favourite band, Gacharic Spin, as a dancer, aged 18. Turned out she was talented in other areas too and they gave her some vocal duties. She did well with those, is a total charisma bomb and now she's one of their lead singers
19.02.2026 16:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Angelina 1/3 of Gacharic Spin released her first solo EP as Ailly yesterday
19.02.2026 15:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm a day late, but yesterday was the 40th birthday of the great Sakura Ando. For my money, if not the most talented actress of her generation, she's in the conversation. Here you can watch her incredible performance in We'll Keep Walking, That's All (with English subs)
19.02.2026 10:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If she's got something lined up that looks middling but baity, look out.
19.02.2026 09:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0She'll get her Oscar eventually. For something she's...okay in. The year after she she delivers career best work.
19.02.2026 08:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Same thing happened to me at City of the living Dead (though not on my birthday). It was first on a triple bill with the other gates of Hell films. I did not stay for The Beyond.
18.02.2026 21:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't think I've seen anything past about season 10, aside from the movie, though I'm told I don't need to but...
18.02.2026 21:43 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Miranda July's The Future comes to mind. I fucking HATED Me and You And Everyone We Know, but a friend talked me into joining him for it at London Film Festival (a press show, so happily all it cost was time). I told him I felt like I'd aged a decade by the time we left.
18.02.2026 21:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not sure all of these meet the criteria, US release wise but here's my Top 13

Followed you back
18.02.2026 16:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I don't know if you are following me there, or vice versa, but here's the link if you want to
18.02.2026 15:16 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I honestly don't remember, saw it once, years ago, but obviously it's the kind of thing you don't usually see for that price, so I had to grab it.
18.02.2026 15:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not sure if it's an official prequel, but they're certainly related
18.02.2026 14:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Charity shop find of the day. Β£1.50.
18.02.2026 13:50 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I'm attempting to make a definitive, complete, list of the films I have on physical media. As far as I can tell this, Part 1 of 4, which covers titles from Numbered to D, is complete (until I next go outside)
18.02.2026 10:16 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I like that they all have different spins on the idea and are all related rather than being remakes. The anime, canon wise, is a sequel to the Obayashi, and apparently the 2010 live action film follows the cousin of the protagonist of the anime.
17.02.2026 21:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have a bunch. Back to the Future and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade are childhood faves that I'll always make people watch, then there's the GOATs - The Last Picture Show and Badlands.
There are more.
I've seen three versions of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time: the Obayashi; Mamoru Hosoda's anime and Masaaki Taniguchi's 2010 live action adaptation (which stars Riisa Naka, who voices the anime). I've also read the novella.
I HIGHLY recommend EVERY version.
