So the Chargers sign Novak, and he’s fantastic for the rest of the year.

But then Kaeding was healthy again for the 2012 season, and *again* Novak was victim to the final round of preseason cuts.

then Kaeding was AGAIN injured in September, Novak was again signed, and again fantastic…

But there were still games left in the UFL season, and while the chargers were willing to buy out his contract, the UFL rejected it.

He signed for the jets in the 2011 offseason, but was again cut before the season started.

Then Kaeding injured his ACL in the opening kickoff of the season…

So he was on the 2010 chargers preseason roster, but was in the final round of preseason cuts.

So he went to play a season in the UFL, and was great. So great that the Chargers wanted him back in mid-October to solve the problems they were having that led to missing the playoffs…
