I got the two part shingles vax and it was awful yes, and one of my legs literally became weak for three weeks and then I was fine. It was scary.

but I cannot stress this enough...shingles is scarier. DO IT.

My sister had it on her face near her eye and it was hell, and scary for the same sorts of reasons.

I got the vaccination, both doses, and even the VAX packs a whollop. one of my legs was weak for three weeks. no, not kidding.
