It is odd that we don't add loading zones and accessible parking to neighbourhoods be default. Especially now, where food delviery and uber pickups are more common, providing a safe/legal option just makes sense to keep drivers out of places they should not be.

People go WAY too fast, and pass WAY too close. #YEGBike

We agree completely! The slip lanes encourage conflicts and the overbuilt road encourages speeding.

This is why we have been pushing the city for safer intersections. With designs that prioritze the safety of people outside of cars, this may not have happened.

Another chunk of the manning/fort road trail between 144 avenue to 50th street is paved, except for the intersections. They also have most of the sidewalks from Manning to Clairview station ripped out and gravel down for a new shared trail. Lots of new curb ramps under construction too.

Took the kids on an errand between Calgary Tr & and Gateway

No bike Lanes, just four lane car sewers and the sidewalk.

Sidewalk riding is illegal in Edmonton, but sometimes it's the only choice.

What would you do?

Callingwood active transportation is rideable from 178 st to 170 st. Past that the sidewalk has been dug but there is no asphalt.

Davies appears to be completed! There is still some additional roadwork in the area.
