Cruise is a savvy reader with great taste who can distinguish a good screenplay from a bad one. Give him 100 scripts and he'll identify the two that shine. This skill (among actors) is more uncommon than you think.

The most accurate assessment of Love, LaFleur, Gutekunst on record. Pitch perfect. Even took aim at our Lickspittle Local Media who worship the organization and won't write critically about the team.

My fav:

"Matt β€œWe have six Davante Adamses in our wideout room!” LaFleur."

Talent isn't rare. Throw an apple & you hit someone with talent. Perseverance? rare. Work ethic? exceedingly rare; the willingness to grind. Being able to endure the scorn, rejection & privation a life in the arts dooms you to in the United States is unicorn-scarce. But talent? Talent is everywhere.

Generative AI by definition is conformity. It is an averaging of anything you ask of it - quite literally guessing what the most likely version of a thing might be. It is, by definition, mainstream, as is everything it creates old and deeply ideological, as every model trains on similar data.

This is final proof we (I) live in a simulation. Just got back from dinner where I made this observation a mere 30 minutes ago only to get home and see this at the top of my feed.

Anyway, I'm on to you (all of you who are doing this).

Gave you a shoutout in my #SFB15 post but your bluesky address didn't translate when I copied it.

So I'll thank you again here!

Honored to play in #SFB15. Thank you to the great @scottfish.bsky.social for inviting me back.

Thank you @allanhepworth.bsky.social for manning the traffic control tower in the blue skies and β€ͺ@joshadhd.com‬ for his essential Scott Fish Bowl Tool.

Tried a "F--- them QBs" draft.

He was so fun to watch at Arkansas. Had the size, speed, and athleticism every NFL team covets. Insanely strong too. Just never found a single bit of good fortune after he was drafted, like he was cursed from the start.

I need a 2-minute video edit of Big Mike's patented, soaring, high-flying catches (they almost always ended in spectacular crash-landings) set to Carly Simon's Nobody Does It Better.

Magnificent valor. It was an honor to watch him play.

Just saw Superman. Was gonna do a whole bit about it walking in. That’d be a disservice. It’s an important piece of work and I’m not joking. I don’t even like superhero movies. Sprint to see it. Bring your kids and explain it to them. James Gunn had a time machine when he made it.

I left for good in January after Musk's Nazi salutes.

It took you a bit longer to finally leave that awful place but well done! Thank you.

Josh, thanks for all the work you do on this. #SFB wouldn't be the same without this tool.

We're back underway! Thank you, Allan.

Pretty awesome that someone who'd thought they wouldn't get to play in #SFB15 got an exciting surprise message from you tonight!

Hi Allan -- a player in MFL Racine Belles has been OTC in R1 (1.09) for more than 7 hours. 45 mins from timing out. Maybe he forget about the draft (insane!) so just a head's up in case he's not available to go

Unusual and perhaps precedented for a sports movie, the hero athlete's signature "play" is to cheat.

Roy Hobbs with a corked bat.

Rocky Balboa intentionally punching Apollo Creed in the balls in rounds 5, 7, 10, and 15.

My daughter graduated from Oregon State on Saturday (Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, microbiology major).

Your commencement address was among the best speeches I've ever heard. You rose to the occasion and met the moment like no one else could have done. Sincere, powerful, passionate. Bravo.

Community leaders are needed more than ever before, and Scott and Ryan epitomize The Helpers.

"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping."

Allan, I accepted my #SFB15 invite and joined the Racine Belles Division (MFL). Excited to be back!

Bluesky is my only social media but isn't included as part of my team name (the @ is empty). Wanted to check if that's finalized because I know we aren't allowed to edit that info ourselves. Thanks!

Hi Scott - left the old place in January and came here to the blue skies. As a result, my social media signup credentials for #SFB15 changed (my contact info all the same).

Maybe I didn't make the cut this year but mentioning it just in case you need more Bluesky participants!
