Your database is down because you didn't listen to me. I put databases in containers so I can cook, buy knives, run & give dogs the life they deserve. He/him. Backup≠Recovery. Dogs>People. Trans Rights=Human Rights.

Is AI useless? No! But IKEA doesn't include jets in their products because few tasks require them. Jets aren't good screwdrivers, & we need to stop integrating runways into everything, particularly when we've moved from Kitty Hawk to the 777 in a fortnight.

We can see the flaws in the map and recognize the inaccuracy. It's obviously absurd.

When AI "writes" code or "creates" art, the absurdity is still there—it's integral to the plagiarism function. It's just not as blatant when you don't have something accurate to compare it against.

That it does this with a map is a glimpse into its core algorithm. It doesn't "know" the output is demonstrably wrong, but it can recognize when it's altered something enough to be considered statistically unique.

Ask AI to write a story, and it will search for, steal, and modify an existing one. It is ~incapable~ of creativity. It has no imagination, just an amalgamation of training data and programming that iterates to produce a mathematically optimized and plausible mean.

The derivative output has to be *different enough* from the original to provide shelter for the theft.

This isn't a Garbage In, Garbage Out situation. It took a perfectly good map and *manufactured* the garbage, intentionally, by design. It's a feature-flaw in the foundation of OpenAI et al.

AI is a literal theft machine. It appropriates content and rewrites it into something "original," a process that obscures the source and divorces output from creators—and, critically, credit.

Its designers know theft is wrong, if you get caught, so it's designed to not get caught.

Sure, it could have grabbed an actual map, but AI is only useful if it *generates* some "new" content.

So, it plagiarized a map by altering a real one enough *to not be identical*.

It's a map summary. Unable to differentiate fact from fiction, this passed an "accuracy" test. It was acceptable.

AI takes input, grinds it into vectors, and outputs sausage. Some input is good, real meat and seasoning that adds flavor. But it also contains scraps that "fill out" the resulting product.

Which is how you get things like this. Laughable, but a revealing look at how AI works.

It's why they're called HUMAN rights. Excluding one group leaves the door open to saying others don't belong. It's an appeasement—putting a screen over the open window of the submarine and calling it a success because it keeps the fish out.

Bs are an imbortant bart of language. They're resbonsible for mobifying other letters, allowing them to make bifferent sounbs. For examble, the letter s makes an s sounb, dut when you but a silent b in front of it, as in "bsychiatrist," it now makes an entirely bifferent yet ibentical s sounb.

Engineering is the intersection of Curiosity and Capability

When your curiosity outstrips your capability, you expand your capability and grow

When your capability expands, it allows you to see farther and grows your curiosity

Don't allow your tools take away both your Curiosity and Capability
