The best three defences in the Premier League so far this season according to 'xG'....... Liverpool have scored against and beaten all three - scoring 8 goals in the process.
Some start considering we haven't really played well in any of the games = promising

I think yesterday's Bruno Fernandes performance was the absolute quintessential Bruno game that he will struggle to top all year. In the *same game* he somehow managed to prove right both those who hate him, and those who love him as an FPL asset.

25.08.2025 03:18 β π 7311 π 1781 π¬ 768 π 253Itβs a comparatively small thing, but the total lie about Roshanara Ali evicting her tenants so she could raise the rent on her property is now an accepted fact. If you do not fight back immediately, aggressively and loudly against the liars, this is what happens. Labour has four more years of it.

Compared to the craziness the Tories got up to this really is nothing.
Did she purposely move the tenants out to put the price up or was it just incidental?

- When a tongue-tied Biden said "President of Mexico" instead of "Prez of Egypt," it was a several day story.
-Hours after Trump says whoever appointed J Powell made a big mistake (it was him), the episode appears not to merit a story on any national-media sites.

Looking just at Labour defectors - e.g. those who voted Labour in 2024 and now say they'd vote elsewhere. Or as @iandunt.bsky.social puts it....
No point banging on about the whips or parliamentary authority. Yesterday was much simpler than that. The policy made no sense. It was irrationally conceived, irrationally formulated and irrationally promoted. It made no fucking sense share.google/kiktu2Q96
Exactly this.
Getting lost in all of this, is the fact that this is how parliament (of any majority) should work?
If the government puts forward poor policy, that will make the lives of a group of citizens worse off unjustly, with no decent justification.... that should get voted down/ amended
