An 83-year-old relative sent this to me today and said he’s so inspired by Starbucks workers and their fight for a contract that he sent this to his friends and asked them to share it with everyone they know. 🥹

The United States has seen 291 mass shootings in 2025. That’s more than one mass shooting every day. 

This isn’t normal. Weapons of war don’t belong on the streets. We need real action to save lives.

This reminds me of something the US did +/- 90 years ago in a similar situation....

The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened.

This is why we must build back union power.
