Seeing everyone's guesses as the what's happening in the Murderbot finale is funny to me.

Had an impromptu nap, and had the weirdest dream.

Elton John had died, and so every single music source (radio, apps, satellite, you name it) played one line over and over. "And that's why they call it the bluuuues..." For 24 hours.

Were they trying to anger us, so we didn't get sad?

The central air unit died last Tuesday. Due to this, our realtor wouldn't list our house until we got it replaced, cool. 💀 First quote wanted to wait TWO WEEKS to replace it.

We got it fixed two days ago.

House listed today.

Going through stuff before a move, and...

Once again, at the desk o crap. Behold, upon a grey fake wood desktop, a goose statue (wearing a Lacey white and pink bow), a black hand sculpture that I think is meant to display rings, a couple of chunks of quartz, a tube of the most delicious Chinese floral skittles, the pinkest wagon wheel snack cake thing you'll ever see, and the edge of my to-do list. Apparently I've got stuff to mail.

I'm in my office again, because I've got a screenplay due in, uh. Less than 24 hours. I've got this. (I tried to do it while getting a tire change, but my phone would not sign into my program...)

Just me, snacks, the goose, and a candle that smells like the lobby of Great Wolf Lodge. Relaxing.

So when my grandma and grandpa moved out of their house a couple of years ago, I helped pack. We decided to go through a stash of pens they'd dragged across multiple homes, seeing what worked still, just tossing them in a bag.

On Friday, I looked through the bag, and kept like four.

A few paint chips on a wall full, with a couple of less than desirable yellows featured. In the centre is the dreaded colour "flustered mustard" (which, despite my jokes, will not be my son's room colour), and below it is a darker yellow that is named "Sweet and Sour."

We're touching up paint in the house, as we prep it for sale. So obviously I needed to see what weird paint names were at the store, for no reason.

I told my son his new room at our new house will be this colour.

He was really happy when I said I was joking. 😅

Parenting is hard, man.

Main character energy is OUT, this summer we’re bringing NPC energy. We’re posted up at the bar dropping lore and suggesting side quests. We’re leaning casually near a locked door and saying “I don’t think you have the key for that” when someone tries the handle. We’re staring at a tree.

On the floor sits a so-so black and blue floor mat.

Between shenanigans of needing to be on a weird set a few days ago, needing to be on another set in a few days, the unreliable transit system, and us moving in a month or so, I've come to terms with the fact that I indeed need to drive more. And get my full license so I can drive alone. Eep!! Soon.

They're the only thing I have on a subscribe system from Amazon... Every three weeks, two cans arrive. 😂 They're just so hit or miss in stores. I need them. Neeeeeed.

Always fun, seeing a prop I picked up for a group (& promptly sent it off to its new home) on television!

This experience with #Murderbot has been a pretty well rounded journey. Got on the show. Listened to the books. Joined an amazing discord. Picked up and sent off some props. And now it's on tv!

And also, no I am not actually a stalker. I'm too decrepit for that. Don't worry. 💜 I'm heading home in like three hours. It's okay.

And if you don't read the ALT text on images usually, I made this one really exciting and useful.

There is a stage, it's a nice stage! In the very background, "92NY" repeats in a light coloured font, on a dark background. In front of that, is a drop down projection sheet thing (I'm sorry, I don't know the word for it), that has the cover image for the new Apple+ tv show, Murderbot! In front of THAT, are two gentlemen sitting in some very comfortable looking chairs, they're very soft looking. The chairs, not the men. Well, I guess they kind of are, in a "look, we are made of flesh, and not metal" kind of way. Yes. They are worth of facing each other, and the audience at the same time. Good for them, for doing a quarter turn.

So the last few days have led me to following Alexander Skarsgård to various talk shows in NYC. Because my husband said I needed a vacation, and I heard "go stalk some guy who you shared a tv screen with"... Yup.

Anyway, Murderbot releases in like, 18.5 hours or so from now. Watch it.

My legs did enough walking for two days though, so here I am re-watching a kdrama (Heavenly Ever After, I suggest it to anyone who enjoyed The Good Place!) since new episodes aren't out until Saturday...

And I've taken out my binder of notes for my *own* tv show, ah!

Now he gets to watch me struggle to figure how to use the scanner function on my printer. :|
