An eyepatched sailor in a rowbot finds Aphrodite in a pearl floating on the sea

The sailor, much older now, awakens in a pub and walks out for the evening. A mannequin sneaks up on him from a nearby foggy alley and knocks him out with a chop to the back of the head.

The Mannequin in a cape drags the sailor into the alley, peels back his eyepatch, and reveals Aphrodite inserted into the sailor's skull like a glass eye radiating brilliant light.

The Mannequin clasps the Aphrodite pearl into its hands and wanders off into the darkened streets.

Just finished folk horror detective game The Séance Of Blake Manor. Incredible stuff. Game of the year type shit. Most satisfying virtual sleuthing I've done since The Roottrees Are Dead. Absolutely hypnotised me for 15 hours. Art, music, sense of place, characters, mood, voice acting: all superb.

This gothic fairy tale is short, but has become my favorite mystery game of the year Carimara: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs is a fairytale mystery packed with character and a gorgeous sense of aesthetics.
