I’m less concerned about part of the White House being torn down, and more concerned about the fact that it’s being replaced with a $250m privately funded ballroom. I don’t think people who intend to leave office in 3 years typically spend a quarter of a billon on a 4 year construction project.

I hope whoever gets in the WH in 2028 (if we're lucky) demolishes that ballroom on day one.
