Patrol, Canopy Evergreen, Leaf, Ace of Spades, Spirits of the Wild: Awakening, Tag Team, Long Shot, Regicide Legacy, and several products from Flesh and Blood TCG as well as a painting of Caeser from the new Planet of the Apes films.

Now that I’ve slept and recovered here’s my Gen Con haul sans presents for minion. My legacy group only came away with one new game this year, a stark difference from then 5 from last year we still haven’t gone through.

Something I noted a couple of times here today at GenCon is that I think it's important for publishers to invest in "midlist" and/or newer authors because the cash cows at the top can die, stop producing, or blow up in scandals, and if you don't have a stable of writers to step up, you're screwed.

I loved Superman and bounced off F4 hard. It’s well written, but baby in danger the whole movie doesn’t feel very heroic.

The event catalogue on the Gen Con website gets better every year for search ability. If you’re looking for Strahd stuff (ya know for whatever reason) you can find it relatively easy.

There are lots of Writer Symposium events to meet cool folks (feel free to say hi to me). But we have a secret Magic meetup on Thursday night for low stakes networking and fun.

Try to walk the Exhibit Hall. Do not go into the Exhibit Hall Thursday morning or Saturday afternoon, those are the busiest times.

It’s gonna be HOT and humid. We’re going through corn sweat season (near harvest corn releases water) and it affects the city.
