One problem is that housing has become more and more an investment, rather than a utility, and that is now what it is treated as too often by the market / people.

- I do think it does weird things to the rental market by changing incentives. Some of these things are not good for people especially when needing to change housing ie had a child

Truthfully I did restart (twice) and used it in a better way: small bits at a time. Build tests. Test. Repeat. But still feel like I should have put the time aside to learn things properly myself and now be way quicker at building + exercised my brain. Also feel like this too full already.

I've been doing a bunch of "vibe coding" recently to help a friend build something "quicky" with tech I didn't really understand and didn't have time to learn.

It turned out I wasted a lot of time, and a lot of tokens, failed to build anything working and ...

Apart from this being an abomination even the "it's AI" turns out to be a lie and they have a bunch of low wage VFX artist on it now because AI wasn't even good enough for this crap

I feel this is related ? A few months ago was very excited to go see interstellar 5555 at a limited release show at the cinema. They AI upscaled it so everything looked like shit, but did nothing about tht audio mix to make it amazingly cinema worthy. Very much suits being "do AI" the end.
