Can confirm (n=2). Kids got Covid at camp and we drove home with windows down, masks on, and two air purifiers and still got it. Second time one of them got Covid (+ the day before he was supposed to get vaxxed) my husband and I had just gotten vaxxed 2 weeks before. Neither one of us got it.

Then the next day I was at the store and saw someone I knew who was also a UGA grad and we were commiserating and a friend of hers came up and she said “we both went to Georgia, we’re talking about the game,” and the friend said “oh, I went to Alabama, so I’ll go…”

We lived in Mobile and knew SO MANY Alabama boosters. There was a teen I knew whose dad became the chancellor there a year later and we used to jaw back and forth. The next day the only thing he said to me was “that game. THAT GAME!”

My son was 3 so obviously doesn’t remember & my husband was telling him about the aftermath earlier today, from him going to cry after to us going to get a tree & getting dinner at 5 guys & the workers seeing us in our UGA gear (in Mobile) & bringing us our food b/c they could see we were done.

These fans singing Goodbye obviously didn’t suffer through ‘08 or ‘12 or ‘15 or maybe even the ‘18 NCG. I have so much ingrained Alabama related trauma.

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

When I worked as an insurance adjuster just out of college (03/04), I had a claim where a guy did this, except it didn’t break off and pulled up the whole thing. It cost thousands to replace.

My reaction as a Georgia graduate who lived in Mobile from 2008-2021 (so that would be losing to them in the regular season in 2008, the SEC championship in 2012, regular season in 2015, and NCG in 2018).

Glad one kid is at a small school (though, she is thinking of going into education policy, so may end up with you) and the other is thinking small, too!

Wow, that’s interesting. I went to Georgia and I’m ashamed to say we always considered a high amount of school paraphernalia to be an indicator that one didn’t actually matriculate at the school…😬
