New York Times' coverage has, as always, been tonally spotty, but this is a heart-wrenching and close-to-the scene piece on what it feels like to be in Minneapolis right now. (Currently halfway across the world, but this is my home state.)

Yeah. There'll still be disconnects between the recut arcs and the new manga adaptations, but not any more so than already existed between the 2015 anime and the two subsequent movies. Especially post-Daima, I think they're fine as long as it's all available and fits with squinting.

Mood in minneapolis right now

While I am slightly whelmed, I'm looking forward to that content being let out of its multimedia prohibition for games, etc.! The announced recut of the Super 2015 anime can't possibly fix all its problems, but at least it should be a more...watchable?...option for Super in animated format too.

Dragon Ball--the series largely responsible in an oblique way for my current professional track, Japanese proficiency, and three-thousand some fandom and professional followers from back on the Everything Site™--is finally getting the back half of its sequel manga adapted.
