I remember when I first tried to read the FATE core rulebook - it all just seemed so abstract. However, it really comes alive when you look through a supplement book to see how it can be applied & hacked (Fate of Cthulhu’s corruption subsystem is a great example).

Painting progress with the wonderfully gnarly Cult of the Black Grail for #TrenchCrusade

I have played Golden Heroes, Marvel 1st release, DC, Mutants & Masterminds, Champions, Masks and Spectaculars. IMHO Spectaculars is by far the best as it most closely allows you to recreate the vibe of a comic book.
