Iโ€™ve said it before Iโ€™ll say it again

Iโ€™ve been genuinely astounded at how quickly & effectively RFK Jr & his alliesโ€”Drs Prasad, Bhattacharya, Makary, Hรธeg, Oz, & Kulldorffโ€”have been able to dismantle the US vaccination system, including vaccine R&D

I thought guardrails might slow them, but nope

NATO shake-up sees US ousted from 2 warfighting-level commands - Breaking Defense The US will hand over charge of Joint Force Command Norfolk to the United Kingdom and relinquish leadership of Joint Force Command Naples to Italy.

In a stunning shift today, NATO stripped the US of all of its operational-level Joint Force Commands.

For the first time since NATOโ€™s founding, all of these commands will be led by Europeans.

NATO no longer feels the United States can be trusted.

I spent a lot more time w/my momโ€™s side of my family, where my sister & I were the only cousins w/a different name. It felt very much my fatherโ€™s name.
Still, I didnโ€™t decide until after I married.
In the end, I chose the same name as my future kids.
But absolutely everyone should be able to choose!

The choice was between my fatherโ€™s name and my husbandโ€™s name, so it was patriarchy either way.

I would like to thank the people of the Internet for allowing me to see things from their homes and gardens (even if often heavily redacted and cropped๐Ÿ™ƒ) so that I, as a disabled woman, can see really cool stuff. Your cat? Show me. Your new couch? Totally. The hike? Yes, plz. I REVEL in it.

That reminds me of the Le Guin short story Sur, about a group of SA women who get to the South Pole before Amundsen but tell no one and intentionally leave no trace.

So I have just read the chapter on British bombing of Germany in 1943 in @alanallport.bsky.social new book and it is one of the best pieces of historical writing I have ever read. Research, fine judgement and sensibility combined with style. History is fundamentally writing and this is a model.

This is an immensely significant document that continues to get virtually no attention in US mediaโ€”but lots abroad. In Jul 2015, Epstein arranged a meeting between a known highest-level Russian intel operative, Sergey Belyakov and Peter Thiel,

can't help but think there is probably a corrosive effect of having sex trafficker-elite emails unveiled for months on end as one of the biggest cultural/news stories of the last yearโ€” unearthing an inexcusable moral rot in the upper echelons of powerโ€”but without any real accountability/justice
