I bet this system exists. 200+ is a lot of students, to be fair, but surely not remotely the biggest the university has to offer. Some courses would be totally unworkable in this scenario.

When I did something similarly fun here, it turned out there was a secret (or at least, not widely disseminated) way to reassign grades to a large number of people.

You have to be a bit charitable to get a graph from the second image, to be fair. That graph has a loop in it, disqualifying it from being a mathematical tree.

I don’t know if this is intentional, accidental or relevant, but the second icon represents a graph that is not a tree, while the third is a graph that is a tree.
