Anyway I should talk about why I’m really loving Shadowdark, it’s streamlined in a way that just works for me.

5e is a jack of all trades system and most people should try alts that better suit their players, but 99% of these issues can be solved by good session 0’s and hacking the system to reflect the game you want to play … none of this affects anyone outside the table!!

If you’re mad that goblins might have a backstory or that you can’t romance every NPC, sounds like you just want a weak DM who lets you get away with everything!
