I tried doing this after the election in 2016. Barack Obama told us to talk to a trump voter. I sent him articles from ny times or wapo and he would respond with breitbart, muddying things. He wanted to believe trump was misunderstood. He kept moving the goalposts. Made excuses. Good luck.

You’re right, blame and anger don’t fix it. The damage is done. Now they won’t get medical care. They can blame themselves and be angry at themselves and vote or they can continue to ruin their own lives and not vote. They live somewhere I wouldn’t even visit, so it *currently doesn’t affect me.

Why would they? I would think obliterating women’s - scratch that- *all - healthcare in the state would motivate people to vote? Non voters are as much to blame as GOP. No need to make excuses for them. Voter suppression is real, but that affects a small portion of non voters.
