Having just finished ep.3 of ‘It: Welcome to Derry’, can we all agree that Andy Muschietti must never be the last pair of eyes to sign off on a final edit? CGI in this was almost ‘The Flash’ levels of bad. Amazing work that seems to be missing that final gloss or texture, rendering it distracting.

Happy to report, ‘Predator: Badlands’ is a feckin’ good time. 12A, but with plenty of CGI/practical FX nightmare beasts and Weyland-Yutani synths to rip and tear through, it’s easily the most violent Predator movie of them all. Feels like a @darkhorse.com era Predator comic come to life.
