Harvest of leeks, aubergine, tomatoes, garlic, onions and raspberries.
Still getting a lot from the allotment. Most of the outdoor tomatoes have been harvested, lots of cherry tomatoes left still under cover to go.

For some reason our harvest this year was dreadful, it was difficult to keep up watering everything. The gigantes beans weβve grown for the second year also werenβt as good as a harvest as last year.

Itβs a full sized plot, I think around 5m x 30m. There are 2 of us who share it and we have a fair amount of perennials - asparagus, tayberries, raspberries, gooseberries.

For me itβs around 1/2 an hour each day Monday-Friday and a few hours over the weekend. Most of the time at the moment seems to be taken up by watering!
Our site does have the benefit of having a bar run by volunteers which makes it pretty easy to pop by at the weekend.

There was another sweeper on the route this mornng, the leaf debris between Priory Rd and Sir Harrys looks to mostly have been cleared. Maybe the gravel will get cleared next week - though tbh I'm suprised a road sweeper can't manage the whole of the route in a day.

In the 6 years Iβve been using the @a38cycleway.bsky.social I saw a road sweeper on it for the first time this morning, if I ride that way tomorrow Iβm hoping all the gravel and leaf debris will have been swept away!
