Can @kaine.senate.gov explain to us how this $500,000 provision that benefits Republicans made it into a supposedly clean CR to reopen the government? Did he and 7 his co-conspirators knowingly vote for this provision to appease their Republican colleagues?

I think all the progressive democrats should leave the party and join @workingfamilies.org. They’ll bring name recognition to a third party that’s working hard to build a base, ground up. Democrats no longer serve us. Republicans never served us. Time for a new party.

How quick we forget.

Florida has a lot of elders. Older than me, and I remember how kids got sick and even died from polio and measles and whooping cough. I wonder how they’ll feel about their grandchildren being unable to get the vaccines that kept their own children from bad outcomes.

It’s not the commitment or motherhood that make women unhappy. It’s having to parent a full grown man that is supposed to be your partner.
