Today is my 15 year wedding anniversary. Crazy.

We’re celebrating tonight by going thrifting, going to dinner as a family, and playing Mario Kart. 😎

Not big on gifts and stuff but we decided to treat ourselves to a couple extra nights at the beach when we go on vacation in a couple weeks.

I technically still have the Gmail with a permanent “away” message up with the new address. Don’t use it, but haven’t deleted it yet. I will soon. Other than that, I didn’t formally let everyone know. Just started using the new one, and if someone emails the wrong one I reply from the correct one.

Recently De-Googled myself. Switched to Fastmail and got all custom domain addresses. Was using Proton but the calendar integration with Apple was a pain. Apple and Fastmail arent perfect either, but better than Google as far as privacy goes.

Yea it’s insane. I’ve seen some crazy numbers even higher than mine but I assume those are bigger houses. My AC just doesn’t quit running in the middle of the day.

Yea… I’ve hit close to $400 in the summer before. Been keeping it a little cooler this year because what’s an extra $50-$100 when everything is terrible and nothing matters? No sense in being anxious, stressed, AND sweaty!

I don’t mind paying more as long as the executives get to live a nice comfortable life. Hope they get a bonus, and maybe an extra fancy vacation! They earned it!
