Trump social media post: I was just informed that our Countryโs โJobs Numbersโ are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamalaโs chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records โ No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they canโt be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under โTRUMPโ despite a Fed that also plays games, this time with Interest Rates, where they lowered them twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election, I assume in the hopes of getting โKamalaโ elected โ How did that work out? Washington, D.C. โ Yesterday, the Supreme Court released a shadow docket ruling that could embolden Trump appointees at federal agencies to proceed with mass Reductions in Force (RIFs), which had previously been paused after an injunction. In response, the Stop DOL Cuts Coalition made the following statement: โUnder Secretary Chavez De-Remer, President Trump, and the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Department of Labor staff has already been reduced by 20% thanks to ill-advised firings and the Deferred Resignation Program (DRP). A further Reduction in Force would have an immediate catastrophic effect on workers and employers. It would translate directly to: More wage theft and other crimes against workers (U.S. workers currently lose tens of billions of dollars per year from wage theft); Less investigation of child labor, leading to more children in exploitative and at times deadly jobs;
Fewer worksite inspections, leading to more worker deaths, injuries, disease, and disability; More mining deaths, which are up about 70 percent compared to the same period in 2024; Fewer opportunities for worker training, leading to poorer outcomes for workers, employers, and the economy; More forced labor and child labor in the U.S. supply chain; More workplace discrimination on the basis of factors like race, gender, and veteran status; and Fewer workers knowing about and exercising their rights at work. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

The Suspension Clause:
1) Doesn't allow the President to unilaterally suspend habeas, especially when Congress is in session;
2) Applies only to cases of invasion or rebellion (this is quite clearly neither); and
3) *Even then,* applies only "when the public safety may require it." (It doesn't.)
