My go-to answer for this for the last 19(!!) years has been The Animal Years by Josh Ritter. I'm due for an update- I still love it, but I'm sure it's not in my top 3 most listened to anymore.

But due to that pesky fear of flying + ocean combo, a ton of my comedy consumption involves listening to recordings while crocheting. Something about the headphones and the repetitive hand motions just sears things into my brain.

I'm the same way with live comedy. I remember thinking "oh, fuuuck you" about a plane crash bit (/affectionately- I'd just braved my own massive phobia to accost Mark) but otherwise... nada. The lady next to me was furious at me for cackling like mad, wheezing, doubled over, practically in her lap.
