I like mine. Shirt’s nice quality, sizing chart is accurate. Shipping estimate was not accurate.

Although… I believe you have already seen the, uh… unfortunate name placement for the design I chose. So that’s something to keep in mind.

Oops. Got too into a book and forgot about Monday's Wordle and Connections. I did encounter the word 'insalubrious,' though, which- let's be honest- is way more interesting than taking too long to guess "CHAIR."

Read books that bring you joy. Read books about things you find interesting. Read books that help you be better. Read books that make you feel. Read books that challenge you.

Read what you want, in the format you want, at the pace you want.

Going to start saying I'm a "cloth mother in the streets, wire mother in the sheets" as a pickup line.

My go-to answer for this for the last 19(!!) years has been The Animal Years by Josh Ritter. I'm due for an update- I still love it, but I'm sure it's not in my top 3 most listened to anymore.

Glad I'm not the only one having Barred dreams. My dream!Mark decided he'd be providing clues for the next round via VHS tapes that he'd hidden in people's homes. We had to physically go hunt them down in groups. I was very frustrated about how impractical this was.

Simon, no worries about posts, all your Bluepals adore you!

I fully understand brain stuff, mine's a bit of a dick as well. Take care of yourself and enjoy your holiday. It's well deserved. 💕

I'm slightly afraid of what would happen if someone removed that rope.

Like I said- larval. Didn't Blink-182 teach you about 23 year olds? Don't make me make a Powerpoint.

Guh, look at him. Baby.

"Another One Bites The Dust" also works (but maybe don't sing that one aloud while you're performing CPR).

It's available on Audible. Credit for finding it in the first place goes to my Horne archivist friend there, who tipped me off to its existence.

Take a look at the absolutely larval photo of you that's still up on the site: www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/comedy/...

"That's a fortune, but direct debit... you don't even notice it's going!"

That set's also got a great one about Sod's Law that pops into my head on a regular basis- "Put the washing out, it rains. Don't put the washing out, somebody dies."

In no particular order, the best novels I've ever read. Each one explores the interconnectedness of people in a different way:

The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender
The Solitude of Prime Numbers by Paolo Giordano
Eleven by Mark Watson

I've read them all 3+ times. You'll love them.

Seconded, it's charming! Enjoyable for adults who still have (or need!) a bit of whimsy, as well.

But due to that pesky fear of flying + ocean combo, a ton of my comedy consumption involves listening to recordings while crocheting. Something about the headphones and the repetitive hand motions just sears things into my brain.

I'm the same way with live comedy. I remember thinking "oh, fuuuck you" about a plane crash bit (/affectionately- I'd just braved my own massive phobia to accost Mark) but otherwise... nada. The lady next to me was furious at me for cackling like mad, wheezing, doubled over, practically in her lap.
