Cities = creativity = Autism/ADHD = Enemy of the Sociopath
This is why 'conservatives' hate cities and autism.

09.10.2025 17:41 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I will totally judge people's spelling and grammar if they are discussing 'important' subjects because it is a demonstration of their literacy, which in turn affects how they interpret things, and their capacity to understand complex matters.

Quite a leadership achievement for @london.gov.ukโs government! While nations talk, (some) cities act. And get results.
I prefer traffic islands over humps and pads, because I can maintain speed (and not spill my drinks that I am transporting).
09.10.2025 15:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0She pushed to have the centre islands on Colby removed 'because they are dangerous'...citing a car that ended up on a lawn because the car was speeding... But it's the island that was/is dangerous

09.10.2025 15:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0๐ Purdy has also stated to the effect of CH doesn't need bike infra because 'suburbs are different, because they sprawl'...which to me is the best reason why CH needs bike infra.
People don't bike because CH Road and Portland Street are terrifying... Even at 06h00...
The hills though
08.10.2025 23:16 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not looking forward to that, as I switch to bus as main mode because my cheap ebike doesn't like the cold, especially for the distance I need to cover.

I feel they are extending in the wrong direction and should be extending towards Clayton Park, but I recognize that that part of Dunbrack is provincial, and they can't just build over the 102 without provincial permission as a separate bridge. But I'll take it

And in general, it will auto off after 8h of charging as a preventative
It will auto turn off if wattage is below 6w, because it's done (with a nice announcement), if after 23h00 and the Alexa's detect snoring from 2 specific rooms, auto off with a prompt at 7h00 advising me, and asking if it should turn back on to finish charge

To the asshole boomer in the pick-up who close buzzed me on Prince Albert where there isn't a bike lane, and then tried to crush me because he didn't want me to pass when I was in a bike lane because he was stuck behind 20 cars... I hope I caused sufficient damage to yer vehicle.

And because a large portion of the population uses Google maps, I figured it was also the most accessible way for everyone as well
07.10.2025 21:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I have some rules though, I do not post pictures/racks at non-adult schools, if a street is lined with them every 50m (like Barrington or Quinpool), or if I know it's going to be removed soon due to property redevelopment.
I do it in towns/cities I visit too
I started when I got my first ebike, I didn't know where to park, so I started recording them when I'd be out for walks and such. I figured there were others in my situation, so I decided to post when/where ever possible.
