Woke and in favour of a functioning NHS and criminal justice system, benefits for the less fortunate, decency and honesty. So delighted to have got rid of the Tories #FBPE
You do go through the mill.
I can only send my heartfelt best wishes for you and those lucky enough to be under your care.
Hugs from back home in Suffolk
I flew into the old Kai tak airport with the notorious checkerboard approach and sharp right turn before landing. We did a go around.
Friend there (recently retired senior training captain with Cathay Pacific) said "That's the problem with flying British Airways"!
Amazing that you're still here!
Weirdly, some engineer many moons ago considered this possibility, so when I saw a strike outside my window a few years ago I was just impressed!
Amongst my many failings, I'm an aviation geek! We rarely experience technological marvels so closely
Oh, and check the pilot has an equal number of take offs and landings.
Any discrepancy should be a red flag.
Sweet dreams!
If you've chosen your airline, seat number, time of flight and route carefully, you'll probably be okay.
Otherwise, get out those nuns and rosaries
I always like to watch a few episodes of air crash investigations before I fly.
And then imagine me shouting out abort - you've forgotten the flaps!
Like everything in life, there's a huge amount of luck involved.
My best friend died partly as a result of an arrogant consultant failing to recognise a situation beyond his experience or competence.
Had he first been admitted to another hospital, who knows.
Flying is fun. It's the whole stress of airports - security, maze through duty free, and late gate change to somewhere halfway back home that kills!
Have a lovely lamb kebab for me when you're there!
So sorry.
It may be a mindset thing, or luck, but through some pretty unpleasant experiences over the last few years, there has always been someone in a worse position who has been treated as I would have wished to have been in their circumstances.
This isn't really about the Royal family. The Crown estate is one of those anachronistic artifices that the government largely controls whilst pretending that it's nothing to do with them.
13.10.2025 22:48 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yet it is so close to being extraordinarily amazing.
Entry is always difficult, and exit if pharmacy is involved is infuriating, but once in the system it has proved very special.
For me and for friends.
Good luck
Surely that is why the avalanche of recognition of Palestinian statehood was so significant.
If Trump deserves any credit, it is for unifying other leaders whilst being utterly unpredictable in relation to support for Bibi!
If Palestine is properly supported in recovery, there is hope.
A friend of mine set up Halo trust operations in war torn countries - the basic premise was always to get communities from both sides of the conflict to work together with a common goal.
That was probably as great an impact as the removal of killing and maiming devices.
This initial brief agreement is wafer thin fragile. But if Jewish people throughout the world express their disapproval of the actions of the Israeli government, then just maybe the peoples of Israel and Palestine can recognise they are all humans.
The blame can be laid on the doorsteps of others.
Have you packaged up some solar energy to bring home? ๐

13.10.2025 20:52 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I feel more strongly for your torment than I did a few days ago!
Walked friend's dogs today, but back to Suffolk tomorrow via Newton Abbot to visit an old friend with very advanced MS.
Ain't life fun
you in person had our paths actually crossed.

Thought your aunt had turned a corner and you might have a bit of time and space to look after yourself.
I accidentally went through the clinical side of A&E there earlier, and saw conditions on a quiet Sunday ๐ข
Have the huge hug I would have given
On behalf of all us BlueSky occasionals who don't keep on top of what's going on people, thank you!
Your honesty helps us all in the support of others.
As for your troll, let us at them!
I hope you feel the goodwill and support of us.
It helped me

It would be wonderful if this was different once to deter future compliants, but I won't hold my breath.
You seem to do it well.
Good morning to you too.
I want to say something supportive, but can't find the words.
Cancer is a bastard. Luck largely determines outcomes, but one's approach to it determines its effects on you and others around you.
Happy birthday yesterday, and keep up the great vibes.
Hugs.
