The childish antics of the Liberals over yes / no / maybe net zero is proof positive that it will be a very long time before – if ever – they get a sniff of power.
Ironically, this should give certainty to investors and business to proceed with confidence in the lucrative renewables future.

What about the bigger picture ?
These statistics become meaningless when we remember that Australia has the dishonour of being one of the world’s top exporters of fossil fuels.
The climate cynicism of the Albanese Government seems akin to a bottomless coalpit.

A state memorial for Ned Kelly would be more meaningful. After all, he was/is a person of national significance unlike Richardson. Now, Ned's a part of our folklore. He rebelled against corruption. Richo "the crook" revelled in it.
