I tried Unreal Engine MegaLights with RTX 3060. It Seems to perform really well for 1000+lights (60+ @ 1440p) with overall improvements to Lumen & Raytracing.
There Seems to be a lot of Ghosting in movement though other than that I'm excited for MegaLight!

The way unreal voxelizes trees at a distance is really cool and seamless. Works well with alpha-masked trees, but no WPO support breaks previous workflows. Moving to bone-based trees is a tough shift for many devs who want to keep using existing libraries. #UnrealEngine #UE5

NaniteFoliage didnโt give a huge perf boost as other optimizations did. Like NanitePixelProgrammable distance which makes the foliage opaque after a distance, made a big difference, Itโs now exposed to PCG as well. Voxels doesnโt support WPO tho, So had to turn off Wind. #UETips

UE5.7 Nanite Foliage runs surprisingly well on RTX 3060. Tried optimizing ElectricDreams. Still not 60fps but much better than older UE. Sad that Nanite Foliage isnโt an optimization path for regular foliage instead a different paradigm based on Assembly and SkelMeshes...
