"it's the light that can save you from the darkness." If you can find your friend, you can probably find your way out, but if you lose that, it's so much harder to find your way out (as unfortunately some characters have learned the hard way)

Hmmm… The Girl would get along well with McKenzie. She’d enjoy watching him work one murder at a time. Not sure about besties. Predators generally work alone, so he’d likely respect her overwhelming numbers and she would find him entertaining.

I think Aura (MC in Heir to The Sun) and Storm (MC in Winds) could be friends, but Storm isn't the best at letting people close. Samerra (Storm's GF) might be quicker to make friends, but would probably find Aura a bit immature.

Probably Raven from my book The Assassins Raven and the nurse from my short story The Beach. They have both survived horrific encounters (Raven kills Zombies and the nurse survives being lined up and shot at during WW2), they would enjoy sharing some wine as they recover.

I’m certain that Sarah Medley from “Open the Pit” would be fast-friends with Nina from my currently out of print paranormal romance “Curse of St Lilith”, mostly because they’re both in the music industry when not running from spirits.

I'd say the title character from my story "The Man From the Water Department" would be at home with the driver of a forthcoming story called "The Black Van."

Oooh, fascinating one, #HorrorWritersChat. Not 'real life', as neither could exist but...

Leandro from Bloodhound and Ron from Pale Blood would be quick friends, they could bond over pining for vampires they can't have and Leandro could probably get Ron to stop worrying so much about what he is.

This is a tough question. I think Petra from my current work in progress would be best friends with Maribelle from my Lupine short story, especially since one is part dragon and one is part wolf.
