06.09.2025 02:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0ugh yeah weed removal is a nonstop battle. our site has so many years of accumulated invasive seeds that weβve been sheet mulching before planting, which requires gradually tackling areas in sections
19.07.2025 17:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yarrow is another good one that comes back every year and blooms in June/July. Ours are just starting to fade now. Make sure you get the native achillea millefolium and not one of the non-native yarrow variants (PNW native yarrow blooms are white, non-native variants can be yellow and pink)
19.07.2025 15:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yes! We get most of our native seeds from Satinflower. Another source I like is northwestmeadowscapes.com
19.07.2025 15:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0wooly sunflower has similar yellow blooms in June and early July: www.westcoastseeds.com/products/com...
19.07.2025 15:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeah it supposedly prefers wet soil but itβs been flourishing on our dry, south-facing slopes that get almost no water in the summer
19.07.2025 15:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is the monkeyflower that has done well in our meadow (dry soil and full sun in summer): satinflower.ca/collections/...

06.04.2025 18:52 β π 16 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0As your constituent, thank you for voting no on cloture, and for all your work on the clean CR. Thank you for not caving in.
14.03.2025 22:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah yeah yarrow can go crazy in the right conditions. Iβve grown lavender from seed several times and they donβt seem to spread once planted (in my climate, anyway) and the pollinators love them. Plus they stay green all winter and require very little care and watering.
06.03.2025 15:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve read that you want to avoid combining raspberries and strawberries because theyβre subject to the same soil-based diseases. I do combine strawberries and blueberries and that has worked well so far
06.03.2025 15:05 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Maybe some lavender and/or yarrow to attract pollinators and beneficial insects? A bit late in the season now but I like planting garlic with raspberries, and then I do cover crops (usually a mix of clovers) in the summer/fall
06.03.2025 15:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0and now we wait
04.03.2025 20:27 β π 4459 π 434 π¬ 80 π 36Iβd be happy to submit your resume as an internal referral for an open client success role at the tech company I work for. Itβs fully remote, good culture, good benefits. DM me if youβd be interested! I think we have IRL mutual friends if that helps lol
25.02.2025 18:03 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm so sorry to hear this. I could refer you to an open customer service role (fully remote) at the tech company where I work if youβd be interested. Feel free to DM, and Iβm so sorry youβre going through so much awful shit at once.
19.02.2025 00:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I am so, so sorry for your loss. I canβt wait to see the dumb fluffy babies you bring home in the future. You will give them such a wonderful life, just like you did with Austin.
11.02.2025 19:17 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm very grateful that @murray.senate.gov has been doing somewhat better. I hope @cantwell.senate.gov will step up and follow Senator Murrayβs lead.
02.02.2025 00:16 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0@cantwell.senate.gov I am your constituent on Whidbey Island. I urgently ask that you join Senator Wyden on the finance committee to stop this active coup. Elon Musk is a national security emergency. You and your colleagues in the senate must act immediately to protect the treasury.

30.01.2025 18:07 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Of course! Native gardening is fantastic - hope you enjoy it!
28.01.2025 01:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I like seedtime.us for veggie garden planning, and www.reddit.com/r/NativePlan... is a great resource for native plant gardening
28.01.2025 01:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Native plants almost never need watering if you plant them the right time of year (usually fall, or winter for some seeds). And a lot of plants will attract beneficial insects that eat the pest insects, so a mix of flowers is good!
28.01.2025 00:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0What sort of tasks are you looking for the app to help you with? The nice thing about native plants is they generally donβt need much care or maintenance, especially if you plant them during a rainy season. Forgetting them usually isnβt a problem!
