Lot of the discourse is getting straight up bigoted.

I know folks are mad about politics and shit but a lot of the “red state” discourse is getting out of hand. “The South is uniquely racist” discourse was bad enough but making incest “jokes” on main makes me think there’s more involved than politics.

Shit I’m running into issue with mutual follows. Blocking can’t keep up.

I might find some better brain chemistry that lets me look past the bullshit but the bullshit will always be here waiting for my seratonin levels to inevitably crater so it can ruin my day.

If it takes that much to manage I need to find a way to quit.

Truth is I’m not strong enough to quit something I’m clearly addicted to. But I gotta make changes. I like the folks I interact with but everything else about this place is miserable and it sucks to log on and read people making shitty offensive “jokes” about my background and home.

I have been told daily for at least a week by someone on this website that making less than $150k a year is poverty.

Whole purpose of this is to peel away a few hundred leftists podcasters and writers who’ll say “Donald Trump flanked the dems from the left” from now until at least the midterms.

We’ll get the opposite and have to live with another round of “Trump outflanked Dems from the left” discourse.

Talking to one of my veteran buddies yesterday and even enlisted service does that. The nature of the job and living in that environment as a teenager and in your early 20s makes us all abnormal in a way.

Hell if the state of Massachusetts recruited my spouse and moved our family 2000 miles across the country for poverty wages why would I vote to increase taxes or fees on myself?
