Accountability is a subject the Internet has an incredibly difficult time with, because the concept itself is so vague/ill defined to be almost meaningless.

Not only do most not know what it is, they don't want it either. They want revenge, not accountability.

This is the danger of tying your economy too strongly to only one customer. (Same principle applies to a business with too much market share to one customer.) If that one customer falters, so does your economy.
