I also saw some commenters saying it was a lie and they had lived in Korea for years and had never seen W&G anywhere.

One of the things that surprised me about South Korea this time was seeing Wallace & Gromit merchandise everywhere. Plush toys, notebooks, pens, etc. I hadn't realised they were so popular there.
