THREAD: Judge Ellis is the first federal judge to review extensive body cam video of DHS's actions in Chicago. She finds that DHS *repeatedly* misled the public and made claims that were disproven by agents' own videos.
I'll go through some of the most egregious ones here.

Turning to Bovino, the Court specifically finds his testimony not credible. Bovino
appeared evasive over the three days of his deposition, either providing βcuteβ responses to
Plaintiffsβ counselβs questions or outright lying. When shown a video of agents hitting Rev.
Black with pepper balls, Bovino denied seeing a projectile hit Rev. Black in the head. Doc. 191-
3 at 162:21β165:17; Doc. 22-44 (Ex. 44 at 0:10β12, available at
https://spaces.hightail.com/space/ZzXNsei63k). In another video shown to Bovino, he obviously
tackles Scott Blackburn, one of Plaintiffsβ declarants. Doc. 191-3 at 172:13β173:7; Doc. 22-45
(Ex. 45 at 0:19β30, available at https://spaces.hightail.com/space/ZzXNsei63k). But instead of
admitting to using force against Blackburn, Bovino denied it and instead stated that force was
used against him.
Judge Ellis derides Greg Bovino as a serial fabulist who brazenly lied on the stand and seemingly considered it funny to perjure himself. cst.brightspotcdn.com/49/34/daecfb...

Referendum 310 results: Denver's ban on flavored nicotine survives with strong voter support
More than 70 percent of early ballots supported Referendum 310, which would keep the city's "flavor ban" in place.
The strangest campaign financing of last night: Michael Bloomberg spent $5 million to support Denver's flavored tobacco ban - not all Colorado, just the city and county of Denver. That's $10 for each registered voter. The ban was upheld 72% to 28%. denverite.com/2025/11/04/d...

Dayanne Figueroa was on her way to get coffee before heading to work when she encountered a chaotic scene in West Town: heavily armed, masked federal agents making arrests on a residential street.
People yelled as vehicles honked their horn β a sign now used to alert neighbors that immigration federal agents are in the area β and witnesses said federal agents had arrested several landscaper workers presumed to be in the country without authorization.
As Figuero tried to drive through the 1600 block of West Hubbard Street on Friday, Oct. 10, an unmarked vehicle driven by federal agents collided with Figueroaβs as it tried to speed away from a hostile crowd, multiple videos reviewed by the Tribune show.
Seconds after the crash, agents abruptly stopped their vehicle and exited with weapons in hand pointing at Figueroa, a U.S citizen. Agents then forcibly opened her door and pulled her out of the vehicle by her legs without identifying themselves, presenting a warrant or informing her that she was under arrest. As bystanders yelled, βYou hit her! We have it on video!β agents ignored the crowd and forced Figueroa into a red minivan and drove away.
Her car was left behind in the middle of the road, her coffee still in the cup holder, and her keys in plain view.
In Chicago, a woman was driving to get coffee when a DHS vehicle fleeing an angry crowd crashed into her car. Armed agents jumped out of the vehicle, yanked her door open, pulled her by the legs out of her car at gunpoint, held her incommunicado for hours, then released her with no charges.

Explain it like I never saw Schoolhouse Rock: Dems and GOP legislate and pass a budget, compromise enough to allocate spending across all states. President signs budget. Then new president cuts stuff to the Dem states, pockets cash. Constitutional? And why should Dems ever engage in process again?

More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. Theyβve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally β almost certainly incomplete β includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...
Justice Brett Kavanaugh: βIf the officers learn that the individual they stopped is a U.S. citizen...they promptly let the individual go."
The reality: Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.
