it’s “negative” to be disabled out loud

when taking about the things we can’t do, people feel guilty for it and some would rather us stay silent so they can avoid that discomfort

i’m lucky in that i may be able to heal from mine one day, but this experience has definitely taught me a few things

i avoid them because until i have the resources to fight these silly people consistently, it’s just not worth putting my hard work out there and not getting paid even a cent for it

and, of course, it’s just gonna get worse with ai around to steal our ideas 🤖

last year i wrote a score for a Charlie Chaplin short and a youtube channel called “repost music” reuploaded it AND falsely copyrighted it with the first 0:45 filed off

YT still won’t let me monetize that piece because of the false copyright claim and that’s been done that to multiple creators

i suppose it’s all due to the “lone wanderer” thing they both have going on
i very much enjoy the idea of the cowboy and the pirate meeting each other

“cowboy music” and “pirate music” have an interesting amount of similarities
first being time signatures/rhythmic influences, and second open harmonies

so now every time i listen to classical music, avant garde or even film scores (all of which i write/am getting back into writing), there’s mourning involved. lament, if you will.
i discovered recently that i have a mild collagen disorder, which only made injury easy as well as inevitable.
