The thing that gets me the most in this bill to circumvent renters' security and rent controls is the whinging excuse of mom-and-pop landlords trying to pay the mortgage.
They took the risk on that property. They are not owed the ability to always make a profit.

Nowhere did I say that, and I don’t think they are required to. I asked why is this coming on the heels of a leadership review and vote? What has happened between then and now. Explanations were given as to why the executive no longer have confidence.

OMG just had the funniest interaction with a guy that is doing some work at our place. My kid is home from school and we are sitting on the couch. He was busy working, I decided to play Fortnite waiting for him. Kid got up to do something else. He comes in and asks me “is your mom still here?” 😂

This is so bad. If I was a tenant in ON I would not sign a lease that had less than a 3 yr term. This is just going to creat an even bigger housing crisis than there already is
