Something else that's interesting, at least in Virginia: We don't see big swings left in places where turnout bottomed out last year, relative to 2020. In other words: These probably aren't just a bunch of Democrats who sat out last fall that pushed things left this week.

No reasonable person should expect somehow ST users are harder on facilities than any other metro rider.

If the numbers are comparable than why isn't there a comprehensive plan to predict, anticipate, and prevent or better respond?
If the numbers are not than they're bullshitting and should be investigated for fraud and preach of contract.

How do these numbers compare with other metro systems of comparable size and use?

I'd think '08 or '16 or or '17 would be natural benchmarks.

When polled a plurality respond they don’t know enough about the issues or candidates, and they don’t want to (or can’t) take the time to learn more.

When people *do* vote, it signals that they’re activated by some core issue.
