I could tell my wife (borat) was getting annoyed so I stopped, just tabbed away. It starts independently checking / testing the calibration values aka moving blind up and down! Ahah I had to tab over and be like stop stop you're annoying my wife!

Alright so I've been doing some testing with Claude code and it's pretty impressive, but bit of a highlight, got it set up as a systems agent at home, on boarded it to my arduino blinds, here's code here's over the air workflow. So in debugging the calibration with it, it's pushing changes.

Yeah man so the white panel in the middle is the pi zero with a little power system, and then the 2.4inch lcd on slidable pivot arms so it can slide out from under keyboard while raspi is docked in the frame. The device comes out and idea is I can swap for different components like a phone stand.

Wanted to share because I'm proud of it, and think it's cool. I imagine open sourcing the board designs and caldera modifications, as well as the micro computer and attachments. I haven't published anything like this before, but watch this space because I want to give back to the maker world.

It has articulated 'wings' that slide out to reveal the inner space and provide structural integrity with lowest material footprint I could muster. They then 'tip' at full extension so the board feet touch the surface when extended.

The terminal in that slot is the samputer, which spawned from imagining a little inbuilt terminal, whats the smallest surface area to meaningfully drive eg ssh sessions. That 'rackspace' also has a phone stand with another MagSafe disk, and I can just fit an apple Magic Mouse in as well.

Its been my daily driver, coming from experimenting with split keyboards for ergonomics, wanting to find a way to get more utility on the go, and support swappable components, sort of like a carpenters jig.

Meet the samboard - it's a split keyboard frame based on the 'Caldera' design by @selig.bsky.social. Samboard slides into different configurations, spreading out for lap use, compacting for small spaces, or disassembling for desktop use.

How a Scottish maritime museum ended up in Israel’s 3D propaganda An analysis of dozens of Israeli army animations discovered digital assets sourced not from classified intelligence but commercial libraries and content creators.

Have you seen 3D animations from the IDF showing secret Hamas hideouts?

According to Israel's +972 magazine, many have "serious spatial inaccuracies or prefabricated assetsβ€”sourced not from classified intelligence but rather from commercial libraries, content creators, and cultural institutions."

rotating objects is an awesome way to see what items look like from all different types of directions - without the troublesome walking that would usually be a part of that process. rotation is integral in every industry from logistics to fiction, where authors "turn" ideas around in their minds
