Generation of antigen-specific paired-chain antibodies using large language models MAGE is a sequence-based protein language model designed to generate diverse human antibody sequences targeting various pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, H5N1, and RSV-A. This AI-driven approach addresses traditional limitations by enabling efficient, target-agnostic antibody design with experimentally validated binding specificity.

Our new preprint is out 🥳🥳🥳

Henipaviruses, like Nipah and Hendra, package their genomes inside helical shells built by thousands of nucleoproteins. These nucleocapsids are essential to protect the viral RNA, but how do they ever let the polymerase in to read the sequence?

Cryo-EM structure of endogenous Pfs230:Pfs48/45 complex with six antibodies reveals mechanisms of malaria transmission-blocking activity The Pfs230:Pfs48/45 complex is the target of leading anti-malaria transmission-blocking vaccine candidates, yet its molecular assembly is poorly understood. Bekkering, Yoo, Hailemariam, et al. determined the cryo-electron microscopy structure of the endogenous Pfs230:Pfs48/45 complex bound to six potent transmission-blocking antibodies, providing a structural basis for antibody inhibition and blueprints for the design of next-generation malaria vaccines.
