Trump’s DOJ is building a voter purge machine—powered by your private data
The federal agency ordinarily would prevent attacks on voting rights. Now it’s carrying them out.
For decades, right-wing groups have been fighting to access private voter roll information—data they see as critical in their long war to establish unproven claims of rampant voter fraud.
But today, it’s Trump’s Justice Department at the forefront of this mission.

Temu ACIP, having shed all scientific credibility, put children at greater risk of severe chronic disease and premature death in adulthood, and embarrassed themselves in front of the world, has just adjourned.

It's impossible to understate the importance of what #RFKJr's cronies just did. Thousands will die because of this -- a slow, horrible death from liver failure, years from now -- because he stacked a key #CDC committee with antivax quacks […]

Something I say sometimes is - find someone to help, and if you can't find someone, pick up some litter.
Community action becomes so much more important when it's clear that the larger government is completely broken.

"All is lost" narratives are popular because people generally do not want to take action. Taking action is tiring so if all is lost, you are off the hook. Nothing is more seductive than not having to do anything.

According to this Supreme Court:
❌ Using race conscious admissions in college to give minorities a fair shot
✅ Using race to profile people on the street to detain for immigration sweeps
✅ Using race to disenfranchise minorities in elecciones
The only consistency is white supremacy.

National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.
This move by the Trump administration is clearly an effort to prevent people from having easy access to African American history that they might not encounter elsewhere. Consider writing about this in a letter to the editor of a paper you read! defendresearch.org

a funny aside: last year I visited Montgomery and saw the statue of Rosa Parks at the stop where she boarded the bus, and the man showing me around noted 'now that bus musta had about 50 seats yet about 100 people have told me they were on that bus when Mrs. Parks refused to give up her seat' 😂

A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF
