Family-based GWAS have become the gold standard for assessing causal genetic effects. Theyโre often said to offer an unbiased estimate of the average causal effect (ATE) of an allele or PGS. Here, we (Carl Veller & @mollyprz.bsky.social ) evaluate such statements.
