I will also point out that your initial claim was that Labour couldn't do things their base wanted because it would cause the country to collapse somehow, and all their terrible acts were forced on them by the realities of government. Now you're saying they were pandering to their base. Which is it?

Where are Muslims on genocide of a largely Muslim population? Labour's hatred of trans people wasn't forced on them by Muslims or women any more than their love of genocide was forced on them by Jews.

Yeah, the fact that you're using "Jews" when you mean "genocidal arms dealers" and "women" when you mean "weird genital-obsessed perverts" suggests that you're not arguing in good faith. Neither of these things was being widely called for within the Labour base.

Since then they've spent the past year or so trying to bring in bans on trans people using public facilities that are more extreme than any Republican state.

Proscribing Palestine Action was done to appease arms dealers, and one of the first things Labour did in power was to ban puberty blockers for trans kids claiming that a decades-old treatment which is used around the world is untested (for trans kids, the same treatment is fine if you're cis).

None of their bigotries were forced on them. Nothing was forcing Labour to arrest people for holding signs opposing genocide, to relentlessly attack trans people and immigrants, or to knowingly appoing corrupt paeodphiles to senior positions. They did all this because they want to.

Racism, transphobia, ableism, and support for genocide *are* Labour's true values.

1) Ban medication being prescribed because you say there is insufficient evidence to support it, even though it's prescribed internationally
2) Say you're going to set up a trial to get evidence that it's safe and effective

Comparing the most recent poll to the 2024 election, it's Green +9, Reform +6, and Labour -32. So yeah, that chart is misleading because things are much worse for Labour than it suggests, but then it is over 2 weeks out of date.
