Fellow Canadians, we have 24 hours left of threats on social media from poor winner MAGA Americans until they turn to the next shiny objects: the State of the Union address and war with Iran. Unfortunately, the speech could include real threats to Canada.

I am perplexed by American comments like "Trump should use the State of the Union to call out every Republican who supports endless wars" when the US is apparently about to go to war with Iran for ill-defined goals.

I'm hoping that when the US women's hockey team is grudgingly extended an invitation by the White House, they turn it down. I can't imagine a frostier reception than standing with the male players and the President who consider you second class.

I would love it if blind hockey became a Paralympic sport. Canada is getting interest in blind hockey teams and tournaments, and I know the US also has some.

Wheelchair curling! Sledge hockey! There are para adaptations of familiar Winter Olympics sports - Alpine skiing, biathlon, cross country etc.
