Oh this is lovely! I love that this gallery also gives the artist an voice to tell us where her art comes from. I know many artists like let the art stand for itself but I am always curious.

If you’re able to donate to food banks, don’t forget to ask your local shelter if they have a pet food bank. Shelters are always overwhelmed when things are good, but when money gets tight pets are one of the first things people get rid of. I know it’s a relief for people to have help for their pets

I quit looking precovid because almost all the providers were county mental health care services and wouldn't take you unless you were in crisis. If you were in crisis they would stabilize you and move along.

CDC, its advisers quietly expand access to Covid-19 shot for pregnant women The panel voted to undo an action by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. which removed the vaccine from the immunization schedule for pregnant women.

If this reduces barriers for pregnant women to get vaccinated, it would be a very welcome development. www.politico.com/news/2025/10...

AGING AND DISABILITY SERVICES PROGRAMS
Appropriations, 2025 ............................................................................. $2,518,774,000
Committee recommendation ................................................................. 2,528,679,000
The Committee provides $2,528,679,000 for the Administration
for Community Living [ACL], which includes $27,700,000 to be
transferred to ACL from the PPH Fund.
ACL was created with the goal of increasing access to community
support for older Americans and people with disabilities. It is
charged with administering programs authorized under the Older
Americans Act [OAA] (Public Law 116–131) and the Developmental
Disabilities Act (Public Law 106–402), as well as promoting community living policies throughout the Federal Government for older
Americans and people with disabilities. The Committee continues
to fund the Senior Medicare Patrol Program through the Health
Care Fraud and Abuse Control Account.
Home and Community-Based Supportive Services
The Committee provides $410,000,000 for the Home and Community-Based Supportive Services program. This program provides
formula grants to States and territories to fund a wide-range of social services that enable seniors to remain independent and in their
homes for as long as possible. State agencies on aging award funds
to designated area agencies on aging that, in turn, make awards
to local service providers. This activity supports services such as
transportation, adult day care, physical fitness programs, and inhome assistance.

Ugh I'm so tired of family that doesn't seem to understand that end of life care means people aren't going to get better & stronger. God forbid they become "dependent" on things like O2 & mobility aids to enjoy their final months - years. Now is not the time for endurance training and deprivation.
