A package at the end of my walkway. The Amazon delivery person did not bring it to the door. The box has stickers on it marking it as “HEAVY”. The driver wrote on the package “Pick this shit up yourself.”

I guess this package was a little too heavy for the Amazon delivery person, so they left it at the end of our walkway rather than bringing to the door. And they left a little note. (They even submitted the delivery picture through Amazon with the note showing.)

Mamdani and his team are really good at this. These succeed in showing Mamdani's passion, hope, and his respect for NYC. Most impressive to me is when I see one of these on my feed, I immediately think, "Yes, I can't wait to watch a 2-and-a-half minute video on this platform." That's a triumph.

Not exclusively an old-guy opinion. “Nonagon Infinity” was meant to be played cyclically as each song flows into the next (even the last song back into the first), and they were 26 when they made that. Definitely jarring with the DJ on.

Why 900? No clue. There are easily 2000+ artists in there. I suppose I can be thankful the arbitrary number they chose wasn’t higher.

Instead of presenting a list and asking me to follow artists on that list, they just autofollowed almost 900 artists in my library, a catalog I’ve been building for 25+ years. I did not have the option of mass-unfollowing. Unfollowing an artist is a 2-click process per artist.

My site/app of choice these days for tracking whether bands I like are on tour is BandsInTown. Today it prompted me to connect to Apple Music to give me the option of following my favorite and most listened-to artists. What a mistake.

Look, the Colbert decision is clearly political, but I haven't seen any evidence to say that Fallon isn't involved, too.
